My last POL-ITE for Tennis has come to an end. It was not exactly how I planned or wanted it to be, nonetheless there are many bittersweet memories that I can take along with me.

One consolation was that I finally got to play doubles in a POL-ITE match after 3 long years!
I see it as a parting gift for me and what a way to end my POL-ITE campaign in style. A 9-0 win on top of the school winning 3-2 over Singapore Polytechnic. Personally by my standards, 4th is not good enough, even though we were under strength and lacking in depth, from the start I believed we could have won the Gold despite the odds that we had to overcome. Maybe my prediction/goal was a little too ambitious? then again who aims for 2nd,3rd,etc when they go in for a competition.

My record stands at 12wins, 3losses. Personally achievements is one thing, however I would have loved for the team to win something from this year, moreover the Year 3s graduating.

It's been a long journey, & I'm proud for myself and my teammates for being part of this journey with me.
